Miss Christina teaches language and literature in the higher secondary section. She has an inquisitive mind and an ambiverted nature, which allows her to appreciate both connection and solitude. Compassionate and deeply empathetic, she approaches life with a keen understanding of others.
As an educator, she is committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to think critically and explore ideas beyond conventional boundaries. She strives to nurture their empathy, focus, and individualistic strengths. Her passion lies in fostering young minds through meaningful instructions and interactions, aiming to instill a lifelong love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
She finds inspiration in capturing the ephemeral beauty of the natural world through photography. As a wanderer at heart, she is drawn to new experiences and places. She is also a true melophile, with an appreciation for music across all genres.
She has thirteen years of experience teaching English and Alternative English to classes 11 & 12 at Livingstone Foundation International school, Dimapur and Assisi Hr Sec School, Dimapur. In 2024, she joined Little Star Hr Sec School, Dimapur.
Academically, she completed her HSLC and HSSLC from Don Bosco Hr Sec School, Dimapur, earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from SD Jain Girls’ College, a Master’s degree from Annamalai University and a B.Ed from IGNOU. She has also completed a diploma in computer applications.
She has attended numerous in-service training programs on continuous professional development programme, classroom management, child centred education, style of learning, and teachers’ effectiveness by CEDOK; training on the importance of phonetic by Wiz National Spell Bee; a mock evaluation workshop on strengthening assessment and evaluation practices by NECTAR & NBSE.
