Madam Monita Rai is the teacher of class 8C and teaches English and Grammar in class 8.
She is passionate about teaching and believes that education is not simply imparting knowledge but instead transferring the whole treasure of knowledge a teacher has to the children who are placed in his/her hands. She shares special bonding with the children and is of the opinion that one of the greatest assets she possesses is ’empathy’ which helps her to discover beauty in every child.

She enjoys teaching English and poetry and loves to bring out the imaginative, poetic side of each child.

She has 20 years of work experience working at Little Star Hr. Sec. School. She has taught Social Science in Class 6, English & Grammar classes in 6, 7, 8 and Alternative English class 9.

Madam Monita did her HSLC from Little Star Hr. Sec. School and Graduation in Arts from Dimapur Government College and D. El. Ed from NIOS.

Madam Monita received the Long Term Service Award from LSHSS in 2013.  

Madam Monita loves writing poems. She can instantly write a poem about people she knows. She also loves to sing.
