She is a dedicated educator with a genuine passion for teaching and learning. She creates engaging and inclusive classroom environments that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. As an English teacher, she is particularly passionate about helping students discover the power of language and literature, and inspiring a love for reading, writing, and communication. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading books, listening to music, and watching movies/series. These hobbies allow her to relax, explore new ideas, and stay inspired. She is committed to ongoing professional development, seeking innovative ways to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes. With a student-focused approach and a love for learning, she aims to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential, and to make a positive impact on their educational journey.

She has 14 years of work experience teaching English in classes 11 & 12. Earlier, She worked at Canaan Hr. Sec. School, Mokokchung for 4 years & currently working in Little Star Hr. Sec School, Dimapur for 10 years.

She did her HSLC & HSSLC from Edith Douglas Hr. Sec. School, Mokokchung. She has a BA(English) from Women’s College, Shillong. MA(English) from Delhi University.
She has a B.Ed and is NET qualified.

She has undergone trainings like Disaster Management, ‘Teach Like a Champion’ -Teachers’ Development training and and other skill-enhancing programs organized by the school.
