Sir Hamrongdau is sincere, punctual and does his work with integrity and can take up any challenges. Being the youngest in the family he carries all the responsibilities and also contribute for his society. He strongly advocates for the truth. He has lots of respect for his elders and juniors and always give advices and suggestions to correct the younger generation. 

He was teaching math in class 8 and 9 for 4 year at Assembly of God Hr. Sec. School Dimapur. He is currently teaching in Little Star Hr. Sec. School since 2018 as a math teacher for class 4. Since 2023, Sir Hamrongdau is also the Co Curricular Activities Supervisor and oversees all the extra curricular events that takes place at the school.
He did his matriculation from Government High School Dhansiripar and secondary in commerce stream (honours) from Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur. He graduated from Public College of Commerce Dimapur with honours in Accounting. 

Sir Hamrongdau completed his Diploma in elementary education(D.el.ed) from National Institute of Open School and did his Basics in Computer Application & Diploma in Desktop Publishing(DDP). He participated in Financial Literacy Subject Training Programme organized by NBSE and 10 days course in Sports Coaching (Athletics) organised by Dimapur Athletics under the aegis of Nagaland Athletics. He also completed his online course certification on Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) conducted by Department of School Education and 10 days Community Learning Programme organized by North East Zone Cultural Centre(NEZCC).

He was awarded certificate of participation for managing the School’s under 14 football team tournament organized by Khelo India in collaboration with Department of Youth Resources and Sports Nagaland. 

One fun fact about him is that his mother still fillets his fish curry.
